Many pressure washer pumps can be interchangeable, but compatible replacement options vary depending on your pressure washer's engine shaft diameter, engine orientation, the original pump's bolt pattern, and your engine's horsepower. If your shaft has a spline/gear instead of a keyway, your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump, which is no longer manufactured. However, you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you'll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.

Our pressure washer pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing, it will come with one; otherwise, you can purchase one separately from our catalog.

While many of our pumps don't require oil maintenance, some models do need regular oil changes. Generally, pumps with an oil vent port will need oil changes, while sealed units without that port do not require oil changes.

This horizontal pump mounts in various directions to allow for accessible hose connections. It requires at least 6HP to handle the 3000 PSI pressure, and the pump head cannot be flipped, but the pump can be mounted in different orientations. The thermal relief valve comes pre-installed, and this is a sealed unit, so no oil maintenance is required.

In some cases, where the original pump has a rounder base, this replacement pump will still work, but the engine area around the shaft may not be completely covered. However, this will not affect the pump's performance or cause any damage to the shaft.
